On the positive side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who conceptualized its sleek, modern-looking base and mopping pad apparatus. It's a major departure from the utilitarian, black bases of competitors like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing sight in a space that is dominated by bulky, boxy units.
