Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more capable, acing our tests of cleaning and tackling different types of floors. Choose models that permit users to select between different modes, including self-emptying and clean stairs.

Many of the top models work with smartphones. Find an app that lets you save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive best robot vacuum vacuums and mop combinations on the market. It uses lidar to navigate, create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set schedules and customize the S1's behavior.

When I tried the S1, it was quick to map the downstairs area, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, plus medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even over raised thresholds without any problems. However it was a bit difficult getting down the stairs in one go. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop effortlessly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or carpet.

The docking station of the S1 automatically empties its trash bin and replenishes its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated water before each mopping session. The dock provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1's tank of water holds enough for about a dozen cleaning sessions before needing to be empty, but this will vary depending the amount you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure it is operating well. For this, you'll need to rinse out the dirty water tank regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. You will also need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs All-in-one best robotic mop and vacuum vacuum and mop is a powerful solution for cleaning. The robot vacuum is rated at 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with a number of innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans around furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor rather than simply moving the pad across it. The mops can also be dried and cleaned at the base station when needed.

The robot is simple to install and use, with a simple interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are also two water tanks which are automatically emptied or refilled. It comes with a range of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that can easily pick up dust and debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty robust, however it is sometimes hung up on the small area mats or rugs that I have in my house (which is something you can control by creating a virtual boundary within the app). Its mopping capabilities are also excellent and include a pair of mop heads that can lift and scrub the floor instead of dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water, and dried in the basestation when needed. The mops can also be filled at the top of the station if they are required.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum mop cleaner robot and mop was launched earlier this year. But their new flagship model has even more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the top mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure that an efficient, custom-designed clean is achieved.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned the most filthy areas well, and eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other messes. The sweeping performance is augmented by a side brush that automatically moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.

Its navigation is nimble, navigating tight spaces and climbing stairs without missing a beat. It is able to move from one room to the next without having to change direction. This is useful for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than that of some competitors and leaves a wide margin between obstacles. This can lead to miss-hit spots.

The interface of the app is simple and easy to use. It should be easy to use for both novices and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, adjust suction power and mopping settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. It is accessible through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri and allows you to monitor its progress from anywhere. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video supervision. You'll need a stable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

A robot vacuum does an excellent job of removing dirt and debris, but it can't always reach every last bit of dust. This is why it's crucial to use your regular vacuum once a week, especially to remove dust from corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested that did not have a problem with high-pile area carpets and rugs. However, it could not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising, since it does NOT contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we've tested. It also has a unique method to map your home this will allow it to enter corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach. It also collects more dust in the larger bin, meaning that you don't have to empty it as often. It also has washable filters, which further reduces costs. This robot can detect carpets, and boost suction if needed. You can also mark areas you would like to be able to keep from using the app.
