Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade

Item upgrade, also called "upping," improves an item's stats. Each upgrade increment boosts the stats linearly.

Players can recycle six items at a time to gain a gauge for the upgraded component of each item. The cost of recycling a piece of equipment increases according to their rarity and level.

Upgrade components

In Guild Wars 2, an upgrade of an item can be a method to increase the stats on your armor and weapons.
